Tournament Details
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008
Matches commence Saturday 6th September 2008 - or a week later dependent on the amount of matches.
Match Time and Date may be altered provided that:
- The match is completed prior to the winner's next match in the relevant event
- Grand Finals cannot be postponed. (So if you cannot guarantee attendance - do no enter).
Doubles Events
If a partner is required - enter as follows:

Finals
All Grand Finals will be played on Sunday 28th September 2008.
Cost & Format
Club supplies all balls.
Open SinglesBest of 3 sets, First to 6 games. First two sets a tie break is played at 6 all, 3rd set is played to advantage. Cost per EventSeniors: $5.00 Juniors: $3.50 | All Doubles Events, Graded Singles, Junior SinglesOne Set, First to 8 games, 7 all tie break. Handicaps apply in tie break. Cost per EventSeniors: $5.00 Juniors: $3.50 |
Club Champs History
The annual Doutta Galla Club Championships began back near the creation of the club in the late 1940's, and has (mostly) continued since. Always a highly contested event, the title of "Club Champion" is a dream for all those who walk into the clubhouse, and is something that many of those life long members are still striving for. Apart from immortalising yourself on the Club's Championship Honor Board , there is a great prestiege attached to even competing in this classic event. Those that are not fortunate enough to emerge victorious, even those unlucky enough to fall first round, always enjoy their time in the event, and all members have their own special "Club Champs" moment.
